History Of Tay Roofing Tay Roofing Service Limited was founded in 1970, starting off in small premises in Dundee. The small business expanded rapidly becoming well known and respected throughout Scotland, necessitating in a move to our purpose built premises in 12 Langlands Street in 1971. While initially starting off as Flat Roofing Contractors we expanded into Slates and Tiles a number of years ago, and this now forms a large part of our workload. The Company Today Over the past 32 years we have expanded to cover the whole of Scotland, and have built up a reputation as one of the leading companies in Tayside. We offer a professional service, and all 15 men we employ are time-served tradesmen. Our recent work includes private housing, businesses, castles and churches.  The Management The company is run by Father and Son team of Mr Victor Herd and Mr Victor Herd (jnr). Mr Victor Herd (snr) who started the Company in 1970 and was then joined by his son in 1972. |
